Interfaces â(â API â) which aggregate the
survey data and make other improvements to improve
company disclosure about SEC electronic data collection,
Analysis and Recovery System (“EDGAR”).

In its announcement, the SEC described “open data
improvements “intended to make” corporate information
faster and easier for developers and third-party services to
use. “APIs provide better public access to annual information and
quarterly reports, Forms 8-K, 20-F, 40-F and 6-K. Additionally, the SEC asserted that APIs
will allow developers and third-party services to
create web or mobile applications for retail investors.
