The weighted average yield on primary issues rose to 6.33% in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, from 6.26% in the second quarter of 2021-22. The weighted average maturity of new issues of dated securities was higher at 16.88 years in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, compared to 16.51 years in the second quarter of 2021-2022, according to the data.
