(ST. LOUIS – Dec. 28, 2021) Today, the Office of Comptroller Darlene Green announced the release of the City of St. Louis’ 2021 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (ACFR), giving the public a deeper insight into health financial position of the city in fiscal year 2021.
This report has been prepared in accordance with Article VIII, Section 10, of the City Charter, and to demonstrate compliance. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) complies with the financial reporting standards of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
The city’s basic financial statements in the report have been audited by KPMG LLP, an independent certified public accounting firm. The objective of the independent audit was to provide reasonable assurance that the basic financial statements of the City for the year ended June 30, 2021 are free from material misstatements.
